Whimsical by Revlon

So I got Whimsical by Revlon about 2 weeks ago, I tried it on right away and was a little disappointed. I decided to try it with a complimenting color underneath. I picked 3 turquoise colors and 1 light blue one. Here are the photos and my thoughts on it.

Here is Whimsical on its own.(3 coats)

This is Gumdrop by Orly. (1 coat)

Gumdrop with one coat of Whimsical.

I Need A Refresh-Mint by Wetnwild. (1 coat)

I Need A Refresh-Mint with one coat of Whimsical over it.

Turquise & Caicos by Essie. (2 coats)

Turquise & Caicos with one coats of Whimsical.

This light blue color is Factory Girl by Color Club. (3 coats)

Whimsical over Factory Girl.

My favorite combination was with Gumdrop and Factory Girl. If I had to pick just one color it would be Factory Girl. I like how the blue color counteracts with the dirty green look that Whimsical has.

Here are the turquoise colors side by side so you can see how similar they are.

(left to right) 1. Essie's Turquise & Caicos 2. WetnWild's I Need A Refresh-Mint 3. Orly's Gumdrop

Hope this was helpful to you girls who maybe have this polish or want to get it.

Rockstar Pink

WARNING: This post is picture heavy!

Happy Monday everyone, now I know Monday and happy are hardly ever in the same sentence yet today we will make an exception. Why you make ask? Because I'll be reviewing Sally Hansen's Rockstar Pink. This polish has the potential to make anyone smile and glitter lovers jump with joy. Now i first saw a post on Instagram about this polish being a dupe for Butter London's Lovely Jubbly , after researching a bit and seeing comparison pictures I totally agree. They look extremely similar if not the same, so when I saw this at Target on one of my random trips I just had to get it! So if you don't have $14.00 to spend and would like to still own a polish this pretty the $3.99 alternative should please you just the same. Here are some photos and my thoughts on this polish.

This polish has very small red, blue, magenta and super fine gold glitter.

Out of focus so you can see the sparkle!

I have on 3 coats of Rockstar Pink and 2 coats of Gelous top coat.

Overall this glitter polish was very easy to apply and I found it didn't drag as much either. I love looking at it on my nails, any bit of light that hits it makes it sparkle.

So any thoughts? Is this a polish you will be getting?

Cosmetic ARTS (nail polish)

So today I have a review for the brand Cosmetic ARTS Professional, I got the three polishes ill be showing you from ROSS. Sadly these had no names and all the research I did still left me empty handed. But fear not if you hate a nameless polish as much as me you will be happy to know that they now have a name, thanks to yours truly!

Here are the photos and my thoughts:

This is "Golden Ruby" its a very nice red with gold shimmer.
It took only 2 coats to look like this and it was a dream to apply. The only complain
is that the brush is a little skinny and longer than I'm used to.

(excuse the fat finger)

This looks black but trust me it is not! this is a very deep wine color, I named it "Dry Blood Red" because it reminded me just of that! You need 2 coats of this because the first coat will be very uneven, i love how this looks on me. (I'm into dark colors lately)

This eradecent glitter is "Shimmer Till The End", what can I say... I LOVE IT. I put 1 coat over "Dry Blood Red" because its very dark and it helps show it better. I want to use this with a light pink polish, perhaps Pinking Of You by OPI because I think it will look pretty!

Hope you liked looking at some nail polish pics and if you want to get these you can check the ROSS store nearest you.

Thanks For Reading. <3

The Living Daylights sandwich

Hey there, if are looking for something cute and feminine to wear on your next manicure look no further. I'll share with you the polishes I used for my jelly sandwich of The Living Daylights by OPI. May I start by saying just how amazing this glitter is, if you wear it normally over a polish that compliments it, its gorgeous! But if you put a light sheer polish over it you can watch it became the perfect polish to layer over in a jelly sandwich! Truly a versatile glitter. I used 2 of my favorite polishes for this type of mani, both from DareToWear Polish, La Princesses and Paloma. A good substitute for these colors would be any sheer polish that is cream like and has a slightly pink tone. Here are the photos!

Daring Digits

I got these this polishes from Daring Digits like 2 weeks and have worn Master Shake twice already, that shows you how much I like it! The other polish I got is called Packers I didn't get it because of the name ( not a football fan) I like that its green glitter! So here are the photos, enjoy.

This is Master Shake.

A better view of the glitter.

This is 3 coats with SechVite topcoat.

I like how delicate ans girly this polish is and also that it looks like a jelly sandwich.

(last one)

And this is Packers and green and gold yellow glitter polish in clear base.

I used Revlon's Jaded as a base for the glitter.

2 coats of Jaded and 1 of Packers with SechVite topcoat.

A closer look. I think this is very pretty and it would look good on dark colors or light ones like the one I have on here.

Pumpkin, Salt and Peper and even a Gablin.

No this post wont be about food but it does contain a recipe pairing up some polishes with just the perfect glitter! I recently got 3 polishes from Polish Me Crazy (Cherry ) because we are nailmail buddies. It was my first package from her and an awesome one at that! So I decided to share with you the 3 polishes she sent me and give you my thoughts on them, maybe you will fall in love with one and stop by her shop.

This is I think my favorite one. Something about the black and white together that just captivates me. And such a cute name too.

Black and white hex, black bar glitter and fine white dots with the occasional white square. This is one coat only.  (I liked having at least one square in each nail!)

This glitter looks great with a gray background!

(a closer look)

This polish couldn't have a more accurate name, it totally reminds me of a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Its a jelly base with black, gold, silver and orange hexs, add to that black bars and very tiny orange and silver glitter!

You could add a base that compliments this color but I didn't need to. I like it just like that, this is 2 coats only and look at how opaque it is.

This is pure frosty goodness!

I'm not a blue person but this polish makes me want to wear more of it. It has black, white, blue and green hexs, also tiny green and silver squares and yes black bars.

These make a great pair! When I try more combinations I'll share more photos!

Thanks for reading and go check her out!

PS. I'm reviewing these because I want to, Cherry didn't ask me to do so. Also yes she is my friend but if I didn't think these were worth it, I wouldn't recommend them.
